Aspen Ladd's experience in combat sport began when she was just 14 years old. Aspen Ladd was trained in kickboxing, BJJ and wrestling and boxing before her first appearance as an amateur at WCFC in the age group of 18. Ladd later went on to beat three times within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated ended in less than a minutes. In the following weeks, she went to WCFC for the second time and defeated Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia was beaten by Aspen and defeated her by unanimity to create a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd returned from the loss, and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1. Aspen made her debut with Invicta FC in 2015 to make her professional d but. Invicta 11 saw her take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. She won her next fight against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission and went up to the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen dominated McGill in her wrestling, and eventually defeated her in the third round via TKO. Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing weight of catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd had missed weight. However, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. Aspen won her fight via TKO in the second-round. Invicta FC 21, she defeated her opponent in her final bout with the promotion in a unanimous verdict. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, against Lina Langsberg. She was a step ahead of Lina, and used ground-and-pound to win by TKO in the second round. She remained dominant and scored an even impressive victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger. The fight was at UFC 229. Ladd won over Evinger within the first minute she was awarded a bonus for the performance of the evening. Sijara Eubanks from Invicta FC was her opponent for an rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. The match was Ladd's first big fight. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in less than 16 seconds to end her win streak. After a short break, she returned to finish Yana Kunizkaya in UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In her most recent fight with the UFC she faced Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. The fight was a unanimous decision.
